Why Glycolic Acid?

Sweat is odorless. The smell happens when bacteria on your skin break it down — and after 45, hormonal shifts change both how much you sweat and what the bacteria have to work with. Masking it with fragrance doesn't address any of that. Lowering your skin's pH does.

It Stops the Reaction, Not the Smell

Glycolic acid lowers skin pH into a range where odor-causing bacteria can't do their job. No bacteria activity, no onion smell. Nothing to mask.

You Already Know It Works

Thousands of women have been buying a $9 glycolic face toner and swiping it under their arms before deodorant. It works. It's also two products, a cotton pad and a wait. This is that step, built in.

No Baking Soda, Ever

Baking soda is the single biggest cause of the rash that makes women quit natural deodorant. It raises skin pH — the exact opposite of what works. We left it out on purpose.

How glycolic acid works

Built for Skin That Changed Too

Skin gets thinner and drier after menopause. An acid alone would irritate it. Panthenol, allantoin and glycerin are in here so you can use it every single day.

Two Mechanisms, Not One

Most natural deodorants have a single point of failure. When the acid gets overwhelmed on a hot day, zinc ricinoleate is still trapping odor molecules. Belt and braces.

Tested by Hours, Not Adjectives

We ran an independent sensory panel and published the curve. Most brands say "24-hour protection." We'll show you the data and tell you where it drops off.

vs. the natural deodorant that already let you down

You've probably tried one. It's probably why you're skeptical. Fair.

Nobody told us this was part of it.

Nobody told us this was part of it
  • You're not imagining it

Your sense of smell changes in perimenopause too. That's why you can smell it and nobody else mentions it — and why you've been checking all day. Both things are real, and neither is your fault.

  • It isn't a hygiene problem

You shower daily. You always have. Then one year the same routine stopped working and nobody explained why. Falling estrogen changes your skin's chemistry — the bacteria get a different meal.

  • Your doctor may not have heard of it

A lot of women get told this isn't a symptom. It is. You shouldn't have to find that out from strangers on the internet at 2am.

  • The goal isn't smelling nice. It's not thinking about it.

Not fresh. Not confident. Normal. Back to a body you recognise, and a day you don't spend monitoring.

What's inside

Four actives doing the actual work — no baking soda, no aluminum, no fragrance to mask the problem.

Glycolic Acid

The active. Lowers your skin's pH into a range where odor-causing bacteria can't break sweat down — the mechanism, not a mask.

Lactic Acid & PHA

Gentler acids that support the pH shift and hold on to moisture, so the formula stays kind to thinner, drier skin.

Niacinamide

Strengthens the skin barrier and calms redness, so you can apply it every single day without irritation.

Xylitol Esters

A sugar-derived odor blocker that stops bacteria settling in — a second line of defence when the acid gets busy.

Questions we get a lot

I've tried natural deodorant and it didn't work. Why is this different?
Because most natural deodorant works by masking — essential oils over the top of the problem. This works by changing your skin's pH so the bacteria can't produce the smell in the first place. It's the same mechanism as the glycolic toner trick, in one step. If it still doesn't work for you, the 60 days covers you.
Will it irritate my skin?
No baking soda, which is what caused the rash last time. We've added panthenol, allantoin and glycerin specifically because skin gets thinner and drier after menopause. If you have very reactive skin, start every other day for the first week.
Does it stop sweat?
No — this is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. It handles odor. The starches absorb some surface moisture, but if your main issue is soaking through clothes, you may want to layer an antiperspirant over it.
Will it sting after shaving?
It can if you apply immediately after. Wait until the evening, or shave at night and apply in the morning. After the first week most women don't notice it at all.
Can I use it under my bust, on my feet, or in the groin area?
Yes — everywhere you get odor, externally. That's the point. Not for internal use.
Does it contain aluminum?
No. Worth saying though: if aluminum works for you, there's no strong evidence it's harmful. We're not aluminum-free as a health claim. We're aluminum-free because glycolic acid does a different job.
I'm on HRT. Do I still need this?
Many women find HRT helps a lot with odor. Many find it helps with everything except this. If HRT sorted it for you, you don't need us — and we'd rather tell you that than sell you something.
What does it smell like?
Three light scents and one genuinely unscented. We kept them subtle on purpose — heavy gourmand scents on top of an acid base is exactly what people complain about with other brands. If in doubt, start unscented.
How long does one stick last?
About 30 days at daily use. Deliberately sized so you rotate scents and the actives are always fresh, rather than one giant stick sitting in the cupboard for six months.
What if it doesn't work?
Use the entire stick. If you're not happy, email us within 60 days for a full refund and don't send anything back.

Finally stopped the onion thing

I genuinely thought I was going mad. Showering twice a day and still catching that onion smell by mid-morning. Two weeks in and it's just gone. My husband says he never noticed it — either he's kind or my nose has gone haywire too. Either way I'm not thinking about it anymore.

Replaced a 3-step routine

I was doing the glycolic toner on a cotton pad, waiting for it to dry, then a separate deodorant, then a body spray for good measure. This is one step. Same result. I've got my mornings back.

Rough first ten days, then great

Fair warning — the first week and a half coming off antiperspirant was grim and I nearly binned it. The guide in the box said that would happen, so I stuck with it. Glad I did. Four stars only because I wish someone had said it louder on the website.

Doesn't smell like dessert

The reason I left the other big brand was the scents. Toasted coconut in my armpits, no thank you. These are subtle and the unscented one is actually unscented rather than smelling faintly of wet paper.

No rash for the first time

Every natural deodorant I've tried gave me an angry red patch within a fortnight. This is the first one that hasn't. I assume that's the no-baking-soda thing. Whatever it is, thank you.

Perimenopause changed everything

Nobody warns you that your body odor changes. Same soap, same routine, suddenly a completely different smell. This is the only thing that's touched it. Wish I'd found it a year ago.
